In the beginning, there were ten individual members, each subscribing to one share, established our roots in 1936 as Portsmouth, NH U.S. Employees Federal Credit Union #1515.

Today, Northeast Credit Union has fifteen full-service branches that support all of New Hampshire and Southern York County in Maine.

Because we are member-owned, we are committed to looking out for our members' best interests and helping to enhance their financial well-being. Economic instability has caused many folks to re-examine who they trust with their money. You can rest assured knowing that your money is safe at NECU.
